Japan-loppisen HT 2016

Borrowed pictures from their Facebook and Instagram 😦 i don’t understand why they go all low quality when ”Save as” ….

BUT ANYWAY 😀 it was lots of people! I brought with me 2 rolls of plastic bags for this event for, you know, put sold items in, and both rolls ran out! woow *_* I wish i had taken a After-shot of my table tho, because it was awkwardly empty afterwards with just some clothing and few books left. All heavy magazines sold, the shoes, clothes and much of the tiny things. 😀

The best feeling is when you stumble a big bag all the way there, and almost flies home with the lightest baggage ever and money in your pocket on the way home ❤ hurray!

Minus table cost (300) and travel tickets (200), i earned over 1k ❤ I feel i’m closing in on my dream of a nice minimalist life! 😀

Dino Expo 2016

Dino-Expo, like a tiny circus driving around Sweden with their giant dinosaur robots 😀 It arrived to my city! And me and a friend decided to go! Because of plans i wasn’t free until the last day before they travel to another city so we had to hurry hurry 🙂 There were a lot of dinosaurs, but didn’t want to spam all pictures, so i took the best ones:

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! (and look at the silly merch haha, didn’t buy any) I couldn’t help go all fangirly, cause dinosaurs are my FAVORITE animals

Bye for now, Dino-circus!

Nil x Noir promo table (Storcon 2016)

I was in charge of a cute little promo table at Storcon for the band Nil x Noir this summer! 😀 I wrote down some ideas to have for the table beside flyers and sweets, and ended up with fresh water bottles, photo cards, drawing competition and a mailbox! ❤ Very productive!

The table showed to be very popular! 😀 I kept in the area to make sure no one messed with it, but it was difficult taking pictures because there were always ppl around it. Here’s a sneak photo:

😀 I kinda held the mailbox a secret from the band for a while (I put a note on the box saying like ”Send something nice to the band” and some paper and pencils for the visitors to doodle and write on) I went SURPRISED people actually went over and wrote notes and put little gifts in there, i had to tell the band and they went very happy to hear!! 😀 😀 😀

Girl 1: I haven’t heard of them..
Girl 2: but they are b e a u t i f u l !

I promised not to touch the box until the very next day to see how full it would go, and boy! Storcon’s visitors are AMAZING ❤

SO FULL! :O wowowow
There was a guy who worked at one of the stores there, who came and sat down, talking about stuff and i mentioned i was happily surprised people put notes in and gifts. And he went ”yea I went and checked it out, and someone have put one of the necklaces i sell. They go for like 100 SEK ($10)” and i went woah 😍 no waay

After the con, me and my family went to Malmö to visit relatives so i couldn’t send the content until a week later, but i was happy to hear the package arrived safetly! 🙂

Some had written on swedish 🙂 i put a translation post-it on those. Wish i’ve taken pictures on the awesome drawings from the competition (There were lots!!) but they will at least save them forever!

Great weekend!

Peppcon 2015

tumblr_inline_n2pj7gK62P1qdlkygPeppcon was 28-30 August and i had pre-ordered a sales table!

2 weeks before the event they announced they were looking for designers to submit minimum of 3 work pieces (each) for their fashion show. With my dreams of creating clothes, i started spending all my hours in front of the sewing machine.

3 outfits on 2 weeks?! Oh god. I took a leap of faith.

I don’t know if you know, but we have a pretty old 90’s sewing machine. It breaks down all the time and fix itself whenever. Ofc half way through my making of clothes, it broke down.

2 days before the event, and it was too late to fix anything. I was planning on making plushies and sell on my table but instead i had 2 days to come up with something fast to fill my table with.

I made letter sets, phone jewelry and 3 sizes of mystery grab bags!

The mystery grab bags showed to be very popular! I couldn’t believe it. They ran out the first day. When dad came to pick me up i told him ”I only brought about 22 bags, and left the others at home. Tomorrow i think have to get all of them.”

The next day i filled my table with only mystery grab bags. I didn’t even have time to put them neatly on the table before i was completely surrounded by curious customers who grabbed and squeezed them. And ofc bought them! ( ;w; )

Each. And. Every. One. Of. Them… SOLD! Other sellers even came up to me and said they were inspired to try something alike next time, holy crap. 😀 ❤

Only cosplay i caught on photo, robber from the game Payday!

Because i’ve paid for 3 days, and i looked ridiculous standing by a now empty table. I asked the manager if i could put up second hand stuff on my table. He said yes, and i filled it up. I felt it went pretty well there too!

”Hi, excuse me?” a really handsome girl stopped by my table. I remembered her from yesterday. ”Weren’t the mystery grab bags sold in this corner?” She had money in her hand. I nod politely and flustered, ”Yes, but they are all sold out.” I can’t believe this, i felt popular.

I fell asleep so fast when i got home.

I did my best not to go money-crazy and spend it all but on my way home i was hella hungry and spent about 200 SEK on snacks…. :< woops. Anyway I gave my table away to another seller who needed more space, and took the third day off walking around with my sister. I bought cute stickers (5 SEK), Rilakkuma rice crackers (10 SEK) and some Ramune drinks for my father and i (75 SEK).

I had a blast and met nice people. 😀 10/10 would do again.

Thank you for reading!

Second hand at Japan-loppisen

Home from the Japan fair in Stockholm!

I sold second hand 🙂 feels good to sell off things i’ve gone tired of, clearing my room for new adventures. I carried 3 bags here (almost all elevator were out of order, that was a pain BUT someone always helped me carry down the stairs huhu) but went home with just one bag. Just watch the before and after shot of my table, wowow! ❤

At the closing time, when all customers had left, the sushi restaurant sold their BIG rolls for only 10 kr (about $1) each. After earning a bit of money (I’M RICH) i decided to buy 4 pieces. I hadn’t eaten since breakfast so i was superhungry, ate 2 on the train home and gave the last two to my brother and his girlfriend.

6M oney’s going to the bank! …after some shopping!

Had such a fun weekend working with D’stort at Peppcon (︶ω︶)
My brother and his lovely girlfriend were awesome company & help.
Even though we stumbled across crazy things such as visual kei hater and found our table trashed one morning, we just dusted ourselves off and continued with a smile. The flyers eventually ran out and many visitors attended our giveaway-competition (x) which we randomly drew three amazing winners! D’stort were updated through facebook the whole event, they were very excited ( ´ ▽ ` ) Hope to visit next year again!

Culture night

Every year, the town holds a so called ”culture night” with lots of activites all day. Free try-ons from clubs and stores (´ω` ) like yoga, boxing, fold origami. There’s also market outside like candy, artwork, second hand books and coffee. You can listen to different music and watch fire dance during night!

Me and my brother went up early to check things out. We had the dog with us ♥ even though it was early, the street was filled with people! We didn’t do any activity at all, just bought snacks and took pictures. (´▽`) It was fun!
